JACOBSEN EGG CHAIR FOR EMPLOYEES WHO ARE REQUIRED TO SIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
When choosing the fixtures and furniture for the office, I wanted different kinds of chairs for visitors and for the employees. Since employees would spend ninety percent of their time sitting while working, I wanted their chairs to be specific for such type of activity. I would not want them feeling uncomfortable and feeling pains on their butts due to prolonged sitting. For our guests, any other chair would since they would not be staying long at the office anyway and for as long as the chairs do look cheap. When I gave these instructions to our supply officer, it took her not long to find the specifications I wanted. She suggested the jacobsen egg chair for the employees and barcelona chairs for the visitors’ room. When the first batch of egg chairs were delivered, I personally tried one of these chairs and thereafter congratulated the supply officer for having a great find. The barcelona chairs on the other hand looked elegant and are very appropriate for our visitors. To make the visitors’ area more presentable, I also asked our supply officer to buy two pieces of arco floor lamp by flos which can also serve as additional sources of light for the area. Finding the appropriate fixtures can at times be challenging but with the people and resources, one can find the fixtures that would fit the purposes of a particular industry or office. I am glad that I have a very resourceful supply officer who found the chairs that I wanted at prices that are well within my allotted budget expense.
